With great pleasure, we hosted the second 6G-RIC PhD Workshop on June 22 with around 40 PhD students & postdocs.
We had the great opportunity to host Prof. Dejan Vukobratovic for a lecture with the title “A Perspective on ML/AI Integration in 5G and Beyond”.
The following lectures and the subsequent 8 Oral Presentations were part of the event:
- Navneet Agrawal, “Superiorization of Distributed Optimization Algorithms in Over-the-air function computation framework”, TU Berlin
- Abdolvakil Fazli, „User-Centric Monostatic Sensing Aided by Reconfigurable Intelligent Surfaces“, Fraunhofer HHI
- Abhishek Dandekar, „Semantic Interfaces: An AI native approach for control planes“, Fraunhofer HHI
- Emre Durmaz, „Energy Optimization for Aerial Edge Computing Aided NTNs“, Fraunhofer HHI
- Marcel Grec, „Analytical Model of Time-Frequency ALOHA with FEC for IoT Systems“, German Aerospace Center (DLR)
- Rafail Ismayilov, “Deep Learning-based Fingerprint Localization”, Fraunhofer HHI
- Michael Epp, “Consensus and Control in Wireless Communication Systems”, TU Berlin
- Mehdi Heshmati, “Spiking Neural Network for User Activity Detection”, Fraunhofer HHI
A big thanks to all Speakers and our Participants and we are looking forward to the next joint workshops.
